C'Mon Barbie, Let's Go Party

Fascinating tour of the Barbican today. Great to see bits I'd never seen, like the remains of the medieval and Victorian London Wall snaking through the 70s blocks, one of the very few remaining 1960s maps and the room where they tried out many different effects on the concrete on site before deciding on the pock-marked moon-crater version they went with, which was created by jack-hammering every inch of exposed concrete. RSI-tastic. Tour costs £8, lasts an hour and half and is well worth it.
